I lived in a healthy way, did a lot of sports, and had a diverse diet, like most of us. I had little stress, drank wine on occasion and used to snack but I did sports, so I stayed balanced that way. Or so I thought, until I was diagnosed with a burn-out at the age of 41.
I saw a therapist and started working on emotions and reflecting on this burn-out. Had I ever felt like this before? I realized I had had ups and downs before. At the age of 43 I had a first hot flush, which was when I realized: I was in menopause! Neither my doctor nor therapist had thought of this possibility (causing energy loss, mood swings, lack of concentration and other symptoms) because I was relatively young. I was very moody and wasn’t a very nice person during that period.
I wanted to feel healthy again so set out on a journey of investigation. I started looking for mental, physical, energetic, and spiritual health. I followed courses on health, botanica, the use of supplements and traditional Chinese medicine. I then combined all this knowledge and the results of my investigation and started applying it to myself. I use knowledge that has been passed on through generations all over the world, in the traditional use of herbs and holistic healing. I now help women in menopause through courses and with natural supplements.
