It is hard to find a topic of greater importance when we talk about improving our lives than BREATHING. Yet it is one of those activities we barely give any thought to at all, or only when we are struggling to breathe, yet conscious breathing affects our well-being on so many levels.
To explain just WHAT it can do for us and HOW we talk to integrative breathing coach Wolfgang Steiner
Born in Vienna/Austria, I have three daughters and three sons and live in the Serbian mountains of Tara. I am certified as an integrative breathing coach.
have been working with conscious breathing since 2002 and was President of the Austrian breathing Association from 2005-2011. Special areas of focus for me are breathing and emotions, breathing in nature, men´s groups, breathing and conscious conception, pregnancy and birth. I am also the Founder of “The Worldwide Breathing Circle” & “The conscious breathing trekking”
I am passionate about practicing conscious breathing and supporting people on their path when this reason calls them. Breathing was not always a conscious topic for me, and life did not seem particularly bothered with me. I almost died several times and could not have been born at all as my mother´s medical advisors suggested she have an abortion. Then at birth I had my umbilical cord around my neck and a few weeks later was back in hospital dealing with a lung infection. I was frequently sick during my childhood and also my adulthood until 33. I was suffering and just happy that our medical system kept me alive until I reached age 33. I then faced what I would call the beginning of a burn out though it did not have a name back then. I realized I needed to change something, and I received amazing support from a friend (a women in her early 50´s) who was my masseur. She advised me to start Osho´s Dynamic meditation as she found the mental aspect meant she could not help me.
This was the beginning of my conscious journey leading straight into a professional 3-year education in breathing and practicing treatments individually as well as in groups. I started men’s groups, meditative trekking tours in the Austrian Alps and finally working online since January 2019.
The big difference for me was that the instant I started with breathing consciously, I no longer got sick and what keeps me going is clearing my energetic stuff out for my future generations, so they can live more conscious.
My vision is to breathe with a billion people and to bring the men ‘back home’.
For exactly this reason, I guess the main contribution of conscious breathing, is to balance the body on all levels (masculine and feminine balance) and bring peace which is needed to invite the men to come back home and welcome them.
I run a weekly online breathing workshop, a weekly online men´s group, meditative mountain trekking in the Austrian Alps, weekly online success masterminds.
