BIO
Aged 79, Lois is looking forward to her special birthday next year at the rollerblade ring! Her grandson taught her how to rollerblade a few years ago and they have been having fun ever since.
Lois says that she is enjoying her life especially since she was given a death sentence at 55 because of her childhood injuries from abuse, heart and liver failure, and brain traumas.
Today Lois is busy with podcasts and sessions informing others how not to live in shame and guilt. Lois coined the word shame guilt. She attributes her good health from learning how to release, get out of shame guilt, and make friends with her inner critic.
Lois has been juicing green vegetables for 20 years and says this is the antidote to aging.

Juice it Up!
The miracle of vegetable juicing.
Without enzymes cells die. We die. Enzymes are the key to life. What are enzymes and why are they vital to our health?
An enzyme is a biological catalyst protein. It speeds up a chemical reaction in the cell. The enzyme is not destroyed during the reaction but is used over and over. If we do not have enzymes, we cannot digest and absorb foods, fight disease, destroy viruses and bacteria, eliminate toxins such as smoke vapors, chemicals in the air, on our food, etc.
An example of an enzyme. Some people call themselves lactose intolerant which means that they lack the enzyme lactase to break down the lactose in dairy products. Therefore, they either take a lactase enzyme pill when eating dairy or suffer with constipation, diarrhea, cramps, etc.
Our bodies should make all the enzymes we need. Enzymes are one of the reasons for eating raw foods. However, we cannot eat enough raw foods to satisfy the enzyme requirements that our bodies need. Our enzyme requirement has NOW increased to fight off the many chemical toxins in our air, foods, soaps, clothing, water, etc. All of us lack enzymes.
The solution is vegetable juicing. One 8-ounce glass of pure juice is about 2 to 4 pounds of vegetables. You receive the vitamins and minerals but NOT the fiber.
Begin with drinking about 4 ounces of juice a day. In time you can build up to more.
Through my 20 years of juicing, I learned that the most nutritious green vegetable is the dandelion. You can mix dandelions with cucumbers, celery, carrots, an apple…the only fruit with vegetable juicing, to lessen the strong bitter taste of dandelions. Celery, cucumbers, broccoli, spinach, and cabbage are good. Carrots are also very good to juice.
Pure carrot juice is HIGH in sugar. Caution with carrot juicing for diabetics and check with your doctor.
CAUTION Vegetable juice has no preservatives and must be consumed after it is made. However, if you cannot drink it immediately you must freeze it. Fresh vegetable juice will decay in the refrigerator. It must be frozen.
If interested, I can teach you how to make vegetable juice for several days by freezing it in small contains.
EAT FRUITS BUT JUICE VEGETABLES
No matter how much you read, or someone tells you never juice fruits and vegetables together. Smoothies are probably the unhealthiest thing to drink.
Do not juice parsley, beets especially the leaves, kale, or wheatgrass.
Juice organic vegetables that have not been sprayed with chemicals. Wash vegetables before juicing.
